This campsite is located on the edge of the French village of Bléré. Right on the banks of the Cher River. Camping La Gâtine Onlycamp is a perfect base for campers who want to discover the castles of the Loire region. The well-known La Loire à vélo cycling route runs right past the campsite, so the campsite is also easily accessible for cyclists. You can enjoy a holiday at the campsite with your own camping equipment, but you can also rent accommodation.

Camping on the Cher

Camping La Gâtine Onlycamp has 210 camping pitches and 11 rental accommodations (safari tents) without private sanitary facilities. The campsite is located directly on the river and has a beach with access to the water. So you can take a refreshing dip in the Cher on hot days! There's also a playground for small children, a table tennis table and various sports activities are organised.

Picturesque French village

Just a stone's throw from the campsite is Bléré, a typical French village with cosy streets and old buildings. The village features a number of small shops, a supermarket, several cafes and restaurants and, of course, an 'Artisan Boulanger' - a bakery where fresh baguettes and croissants are baked daily.

Castles of the Loire

Camping La Gâtine Onlycamp is located in the Loire Valley. This region of France is renowned for the beautiful castles you can visit and explore here. The Chateau Chaumont sur Loire is less than 30 kilometres from the campsite. And Chateau Chenonceau is very close by - just 7 kilometres away. Here you can rent canoes and kayaks and even sail under the castle's gallery.

Travelling party: Couple

Nice wide open campsite next to the river and easy walk into a lovely town with lots of facilities.
You will need a French/European plug adapter for your EHU cable. Toilet blocks are ok but you need to take your own toilet paper! Loads of space, 4g mobile good (even for UK EE) very happy with the place.
