The Loire region is known for its many Renaissance castles. Château d'Azay-le-Rideau is one of the most beautiful castles in this region. Camping Le Sabot Onlycamp is right next to this castle, in the village of Azay-le-Rideau in the department of Indre-et-Loire. This spaciously appointed campsite is in a wonderful setting, tucked between the castle, forest and River Indre. Furthermore, you camp right next to a municipal outdoor swimming pool that campsite guests can use for free in the summer.

Book a spacious touring pitch
When you walk or drive over this site for the first time, you will soon notice it is an authentic campsite; tourist pitches are clearly in the majority here. At Camping Le Sabot you can pick a spacious pitch close to the entrance or the toilet and washing facilities, or you can book a pitch by the river. This campsite also has some accommodation for hire.
Swim for free in the municipal swimming pool
Azay-le-Rideau's municipal outdoor swimming pool is beside the campsite. In the high season, you can swim laps here in the 25-metre-long swimming pool. There is an adjacent round paddling pool where young children can play and splash about in the water. Admission to this swimming pool is free for guests at Camping Le Sabot.
Plenty of water sports options
River Indre, flowing past the campsite, invites you to do water sports. You can hire a standup paddleboard at the campsite and go standup paddleboarding on the river. There are many more water sports options in the surrounding area, such as kayaking and canoeing.
