Camping Le Bourgogne, located on River Yonne and at 500 metres from the centre of Villeneuve-sur-Yonne, offers rural and historic surroundings in the French department of Burgundy. With nearby cities such as Villeneuve-sur-Yonne and Sens, rich in historic architecture such as cathedrals and timber-framed houses, the campsite is an ideal starting point for exploring the region.

Camping on spacious pitches

The campsite, with a new owner and undergoing renovations, offers 50 touring pitches in natural green surroundings, with an average size of 125 m², including some motorhome pitches. For those without their own camping equipment, there are mobile homes for up to six people and Coco Sweet tents available. Pets are also welcome.

Swimming in River Yonne

Although the campsite is simple without entertainment or a swimming pool, River Yonne offers refreshment and options for water sports such as canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, rowing and sailing. A supervised beach in the summer makes it ideal for swimming.

Discover Villeneuve-sur-Yonne and Sens

The historic centre of Villeneuve-sur-Yonne, with shops, restaurants and remarkable architecture such as the cathedral of Notre Dame, is within walking distance. A train station near the campsite offers easy access to the larger city of Sens (17 km), famous for its Gothic cathedral Saint-Etienne.

Countryside and wine tasting

The area is perfect for cycling and walking trips, with a cycle path along the Yonne. Wine lovers can visit the Chablis vineyards (61.5 km) to taste local wines and learn more about wine growing.

Travelling party: Couple

Als je nostalgisch bent ingesteld is dit jouw camping. Je waant je minstens 30 jaar terug in de tijd, incl. hurktoilet. Veel achterstallig onderhoud Vriendelijke ontvangst, mooi grasveld, naast zwemgelegenheid die tussen 13:00 en 19:00 geopend is. Goedkoop tanken bij de Inter Marché, in centrum van vervallen dorpje is alleen een klein winkeltje en prima bakker. Treinreis naar Sens is aan te bevelen. Prima voor deze prijs.
