Camping Les Bruyères is situated on the outskirts of the small town of La Clayette, in the southern part of the Bourgogne. You reach the campsite via provincial roads through a hilly area. Les Bruyères is a neat, quiet campsite on gently sloping grounds with some tall trees. Because the campsite is slightly elevated, you have a view of the large lake and the castle of La Clayette.

Camping with a view of the lake
There are camping pitches with a grassy surface and hardened pitches. These all vary in size and degree of shade. The sanitary facilities are basic, but neat and heated in low season. You can also rent chalets and bungalow tents. The chalets have a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom and terrace with view of the lake. The bungalow tents have a kitchenette and terrace with barbecue.
Free use of the municipal swimming pool
The municipal swimming pool with slide is adjacent to the entrance of the campsite. As a camping guest you have free access to the pool. To get to the lake, you go from the campsite down a flight of stairs to the road which runs along the lake. Please note: swimming in the lake is not allowed.
Sports activities
You can play mini-golf or a game of tennis on the campsite. There is also a multi sports field for basketball and more. They also have fitness walking equipment. Want to explore the area by bicycle? You can rent electric bicycles from the campsite. Close to the campsite there are ample opportunities for walking, quad-biking, canoeing or fishing.
