The terraced Camping La Fougeraie borders a small lake and is situated in the heart of the Morvan Regional Nature Park, a unique natural area in the Bourgogne, eminently suitable for walking. It is an ideal spot for families with young children, walkers, seekers of peace and quiet and angling enthusiasts.

View of the valley

From the sloping grounds you have a magnificent view of the valley. The pitches are situated on terraces and vary in size. Medium-sized trees dotted around provide nice shade in places. Want to hire something? Choose from a variety of lodge tents, mobile homes and chalets. At the bottom of the campsite is a nice small swimming and fishing lake.

Playful swimming pool

The small swimming pool with separate toddler pool has a playful design. Surrounding the pool are comfortable sun loungers on attractive, ochreous tiles.

The surrounding vegetation offers some shade in places. There are also some sun umbrellas. Furthermore, you can swim in the natural lake.

Large inflatable bouncing castle

There is a playground for children with a trampoline and a large inflatable bouncing castle. The playground lies partly in the shade. There are also table tennis tables and a pétanque pitch. Every now and then the campsite organises paintball (age 6 and up).

A cheerfully appointed restaurant

The campsite restaurant with varying daily menu, is cheerfully furnished and has a large, covered terrace. The campsite shop has a limited selection and also stocks fresh bread. You will find a larger supermarket in Château-Chinon (10 km).

Clean sanitary facilities

There are two ablution blocks, both looking neat and tidy. For hygiene reasons, guests are required to remove their shoes before entering the sanitary facilities.

Travelling party: Seniors

De Camping is niet wat de beschrijving deed vermoeden. Het lijkt me dat het onderhoud achterstallig was. het kleine zwembad was warm 29 gr., weet niet of de kwaliteit regelmatig werd onderzocht.
Sanitair werd 2x daags schoongemaakt maar de damesdouche bij het zwembad had geen mogelijkheid om de sproeikop vast te zetten. en de vloer was provisorisch gerepareerd. De Wifi was heel goed maar ook erg duur. wij waren met een grote caravan daar, moeilijk om er een vlakke plaats te vinden. Het weer werkte niet mee maar daar kan niemand iets aan doen. we hadden het koud en nat en dat in juli. niet voor mensen die moeite hebben met lopen want alles is steil. de stoelen bij het zwembad waren van plastic, niet die mooie houten van het Acsi plaatje in het boek er was geen Jacuzzi!
