Camping La Torche is located in Plomeur in the Finistère, 1.3 km from the Atlantic Ocean. The campground is close to the popular surfing spot of "La Torche". The campground, where you can also hire mobile homes, is 4 hectares. You have the choice of separated, green campsites with much, little or no shade.

Horseback riding along the sea

There is a heated covered pool on the campsite with a sliding room and a kiddie pool. For children there is a mini club and an activity programme in French and English. The campground has a playground for children up to 6 years, trampoline, bouncy castle, multi-sport field and there is a disco in the evenings. There is an equestrian centre nearby where you can take rides along the sea. Bikes and mountain bikes can be rented on the campground.

Activities

Various activities are organised. In the high season you can take part in sports activities and workshops. In the evening there are concerts, karaoke and dance evenings. The necessities in groceries and fresh bread are available in the campground shop. You'll find a large supermarket in Plomeur. Pizzas and take-away meals are for sale on the campground in the high season.

Surfing beach

Take the dune path to the broad 1300 metre long sandy beach. La Torche is popular for beginner and advanced surfers due to the high waves. Even for non-surfers, it is a beautiful spectacle to watch, or you can learn to surf at one of the surf schools. There are two beaches where the surfers and bodyboarders are separated from the kite surfers and the beachgoers. Due to the strong current, the beach is monitored by life guards.

"Campsite closest to the famous surf spot of ''La Torche''. Warm and friendly reception. Option to practise model aeroplane sports with demonstrations during the season. Beautiful sandy beach with rocks in the middle which makes the place very suitable for surfers. The campsite has a wifi zone."
