Camping Le Vallon aux Merlettes is situated less than a ten-minute walk from the attractive Breton town of Matignon. This is a very pleasant spot to stay in. Not only for the spaciously laid out and park-like terrain (even the pathways are of grass), but also because of the tranquillity and lovely atmosphere. A suitable location for nature lovers and young families. The facilities are basic, but effective. The reception houses a shop, a bar and an eatery.

The first impression you get of the terrain is that it is well maintained, but also that nature is allowed to take its course. Hence not only cut grass, but also high grass, bushes and many trees. There are spacious pitches (100-130 m2) available, some of which are slightly sloping. They are mostly demarcated with hedges or with nice wooden fences.

Beautiful rental bungalows

You can rent unique rental accommodation on Camping Le Vallon aux Merlettes. For instance, fully equipped tents and bungalows. The attractive looking bungalows are at quite a distance from each other (on the edge of the field) and as a result a bit further away from the swimming pool. You have more peach and privacy here, but it involves a slightly longer walk to the facilities.

Swimming fun throughout the year

The swimming pool is modestly sized (85 m2), but is covered with a semi-circular plexiglass roof. Obviously, the roof is open on hot days. When it rains or on chilly days, the roof closes and children can enjoy themselves in the pool. Outside is a tiled terrace with sun loungers.

Located within walking distance of the Breton town of Matignon. Central starting point for nice day trips, on foot, by bicycle or car."

Liked - Great site, friendly owners, large private pitches, super clean facilities. Also a nice pool. Bakery products to order, easy walk into Matignon.

Liked - Les enfants ont nagé dans la piscine, car ce n'est pas souvent en Bretagne qu'on a la chance d'avoir une mer chaude(C'est dommage, la piscine n'a pas de toboggans).
Les plages sont à environ 10 minutes en voiture. Dans le Office de tourisme de Saint -Castau nous avons acheté des billets pour une promenade d'une heure le long de la côte en bateau .Les autres jours, nous marchions le long de la côte pittoresque ..Vallée du Moulin de la Mer
