Are you looking for a quiet campsite amidst nature? And where children will thoroughly enjoy themselves? If so, a camping holiday at campsite Paradis Les Chanterelles is just the thing for you. You camp here on sunny and generously laid out grounds (partly terraced), by an open lake with a sandy beach. The lake is sufficiently large for dozens of boats. But you can also swim there, of course! More water fun is to be had in the campsite swimming pool.

Your pitch: peace and tranquility

The campsite measuring 4 ha consists of flat grounds and a slightly sloping terrain with terraces. There is a good view of the lake from everywhere and all pitches are within walking distance from the lake. There is sufficient room for the 140 touring pitches (100-120 m2). These pitches have a nice grass surface, are more or less demarcated, and are shaded or partly shaded by tall trees. There are five motor home pitches available as well as fourteen rental lodge tents or bungalows.

Water fun in lake and swimming pool

The swimming pool consists of two pools and two low water slides, creatively and safely located on a pontoon which is connected to the shore. All of this looks very attractive. The lake can easily be reached from different sides of the campsite via walkways. In addition to swimming, you can also indulge in boating, sailing, canoeing and windsurfing.

Eating by the lake

The campsite only sells the most essential items; however, there is a bread service in the morning. The campsite itself has no eating establishment, so why not head for the pizzeria in the village of Saint-Rémy-sur-Durolle for a nice Italian meal. There are several restaurants in the towns around the lake.

Liked - la région est très belle ,très verte !c est très agréable de faire le tour du plan d eau ,région idéale pour les marcheurs
faisant le tri des déchets nous avons apprécié la présence du composteur sur le camping
Disliked - dommage que la superette , le bar et le snack soient fermés du fait de notre location en septembre , il fallait faire des kms pour ,atteindre les super marchés
très peu de lieux touristiques à proximité de Saint Rémy sur Durolle, la voiture est indispensable
c était super d utiliser la piscine

Disliked - Le micro onde installé bien trop haut. Pas de verres à pied pour le vin.

Liked - Nous avons apprécié l'accueil. Mais également le confort et la propreté du mobil home. Le terrain en général est très beau et la disposition des mobils home est telle que l'intimité de chacun est préservée. La piscine couverte et chauffée a été appréciée surtout avec la météo un peu fraiche pour la saison. Les animations sont variées et pour tous les âges. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de cette belle région de Thiers.
