Sites & Paysages de Vaubarlet is situated In the midst of the wooded and hilly nature of the Haute-Loire. This campsite is a beautiful destination for nature lovers and a paradise for children. With a extensive entertainment programme, a large playground and a swimming pool, the youngest campers can enjoy themselves here. Relax in nature, for example on the river La Dunières, which flows along the campsite. This is also a great place for fishing and paddling.

In the valley, between the hills

Well-kept touring pitches are situated on large lawns at the edge of the forest. Because of this you always have enough shade at the back, while you have an expansive view. Although you'll see mainly touring pitches on the campsite, the choice of rental accommodation is quite varied. You can choose from mobile homes, chalets, lodge tents and roulottes.

Paradise for children

Sites & Paysages de Vaubarlet is fully equipped for smaller children. This youngest camper will have the time of his life at the campsite. In high season, six out of seven days a week are filled with entertainment activities, especially in the open air. If they prefer not to join in, they can let off steam in the playground, on the bouncy castle or in the swimming pool. This heated outdoor pool has a separate pool for the youngest swimmers.

Homemade pizzas

A takeaway meal or rather extensive dining? At this campsite you can do both. Next to the swimming pool you'll find the restaurant, where the dishes are prepared with fresh local produce. Try one of the homemade pizzas, for example.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Liked - Granted it was mid September and heavy rain pouring from dark skies, but our reception was unenthusiastic. Our allocated pitch was opposite very tired looking children's play equipment (not required by us). There were three other campers who moved out the next morning leaving us alone. The site was essentially shut, with no catering or bread supplies as it was Sunday evening when we arrived and we were told no bread on Monday; the swimming pool was covered over. The word panoramic is misused in the site description: views are in a steep valley bottom.
Disliked - See above - lack of facilities. We thought the marked trails mentioned in the publicity would lead from site. On asking at reception I was given a route which involved the nearby road. Given the amount of rain and the proximity of the river, flooding was a real concern here.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - Very relaxed and beautifull stay! Friendly people and plenty things to do for the kids. First of all a green and cosy camping.
Disliked - Little. Updating the football field and volleyball field would be nice. Now it is more a field for sheeps. That would be nice to. But then the goals have to move
