Flower Camping La Rochelambert is located in the mountainous countryside just above the old town of Le Puy-en-Velay in the Haute-Loire department. The hospitable owners at this campsite provide a quiet, friendly atmosphere. You can camp on well-kept terraces, on spacious touring pitches or in sheltered spots along the river La Borne. There are many ways to unwind at this child-friendly campsite. For example, a visit to the sauna or a dip in the outdoor pool.

Terraced campsite in the countryside

Long avenues lead to the very well-kept terraces, where you’ll find flat touring pitches between trees and shrubs. Each pitch is different: at the top spacious and delimitated, or on the lower part under tall trees on the banks of the river. Common denominator: it is quiet everywhere. You can also stay in one of the hiker's huts or lodge tents.

Child friendly: swimming pool and climbing cage

The campsite is also very suitable for children. Probably they can frequently be found in the heated swimming pool, not far from the reception. This outdoor swimming pool with paddling pool is situated in a sunny spot overlooking the dense woods. A playground on one of the higher terraces is especially fun for small climbers.The 'squirrel's nest', a climbing cage for real climbers, is also popular.

Lovely evening at the pavement café

The restaurant has a nice pavement café, where you can sit in the sun. Michel lights up the barbecue or delicious dishes, made entirely of local produce, are served. In the summer months you can also enjoy a live performance every week.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - Super friendly, helpful. Excellent and very clean facilities. We went in September 2024 and we had a choice of emplacements. The Auvergne is just sublime. This site is perfect for Le Puy and the countryside.
Disliked - Maybe a tap and hose at WC cassette emptying point.

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - Good facilities - clean toilets and showers with toilet paper and soap. Fantastic swimming pool - lovely and warm! Camping pitches were a great size, and felt comfortably private. The reception and restaurant were great, with the food being delicious! The owners were fantastic - really welcoming and kind who really helped with our french speaking!
Disliked - A very minor note - the roads could have been a bit smoother. But we can't think of anything else!

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - Loved the friendliness of the staff on arrival. Information given and pitch changed once we arrived as the van was too big. Nice spacious pitch. Herbs planted for our use which was a lovely touch. We made use of them in our dinners while we were on site!
