Camping La Fressange is located in the French department of Haute-Loire, on the outskirts of the medieval village of Saint-Didier-en-Velay. This family campsite is ideal for exploring the beautiful surroundings. Less than an hour’s drive from the campsite are Pilat Natural Regional Park, the mountains of the Massif Central, various waterfalls as well as charming villages and interesting museums.

Camping surrounded by nature

At this campsite, camping is done on the grass between the trees. The elongated campsite is built against a hill, so there are some differences in height. You camp surrounded by nature and a small stream flows through the grounds. The camping pitches are spacious and not demarcated. Options include renting a luxury mobile home or safari tent.

Open-air cinema and massages

The municipal outdoor swimming pool is right across from the campsite. You can swim here for free as a campsite guest. The outdoor swimming pool consists of several pools and is the perfect place for a refreshing dip. During the high season, the campsite organises many activities for the entire family. An open-air cinema regularly allows you to enjoy popular films. If you would like to relax completely, choose a massage.

Hiking and cycling from the campsite

Camping La Fressange is in an area where there is plenty to do. The Pilat Natural Regional Park is less than 10 kilometres from the campsite. Other mountains are also within easy reach. The Vélorail de Dunières or Dunières rail bike is a 20-minute drive from the campsite. You pedal along a beautiful route over an old railway.

Liked - Emilie was an amazing host and waited for us when we were late arriving! The campsite itself was lovely, surrounded by trees and peaceful.
