This campsite is located in the village of Urt (French Basque Country), quite close to the Spanish border. From the campsite you have a view of the Adour in the distance. This is the largest river in the region. The Adour flows into the Atlantic Ocean via Bayonne (25 km away) and the Bay of Biscay. The campsite is located six hundred metres from Urt's village centre. You will find shops and restaurants there.

Welcome!

The terrain of La Ferme des 4 Chênes is slightly hilly in places. The camping pitches are generally quite large. They vary from 75 to 250 m2. Trees provide plenty of shade. They also give the site a nice, green appearance. In the middle of the campsite is a beautiful lawn with palm trees. There are also a few camper pitches and about forty rental accommodations (mobile homes and lodge tents). In the campsite shop you can buy fresh bread, pastries, soft drinks and ice cream.

Fun in the water for young and old

Take a refreshing dip in the campsite's sleek swimming pool (with paddling pool). This is close to the reception. Plenty of sun loungers are available for sun worshippers. There is also a cosy terrace with a sitting area by the pool.

Lovers of the sea can choose from several coastal towns with numerous beaches. Among the most beautiful cities on the Atlantic Coast are Biarritz, Bidart and Saint-Jean-de-Luz. The campsite does not organise activities. There is a nice petting zoo and a playground with a sandpit and a bouncy castle. You can also go for a workout. There is a table tennis table and jeu-de-boules court for this.

Liked - A fabulous small and friendly site,with excellent facilities.really enjoyed our stay even though just for 1 night . Shame about the weather ..raining .. would have loved to try the pool..maybe next time . Very friendly receptionist.

Liked - Easy to find from Spain and well signed. Spacious pitches with good access to water, drain and electricity.
Welcome host when we arrived, barrier card activated.
Sanitary facilities clean and modern, there are 2 areas.
If you have children playground for them and some rabbits. There was a pool but not open in September when we were here.
Recycling facilities provided as was washing machines and driers, can’t comment as we did not need to use.
Disliked - Personally I can’t think of anything, possibly advising dog owners not to use other pitches for dogs to foul on.

Liked - What a great find. We were looking for a site with a free pitch for the Motorhome which would allow us to stay one night in peak season. Was really surprised to discover a bustling campsite with nice pool area and lots of amenities. Would definitely plan to revisit for a longer period.

Disliked - It would have been nice to be able to order bread on site. However, a good size Leclerc had everything you need, only a few Km’s away.
