The Biarritz campsite is located in the southwest of France, in the French Basque region. The campsite borders the spa town of the same name, known as an outstanding surfing location. This makes the campsite popular with families and young people. Biarritz campsite has its own shop, bar-restaurant and snack bar. For cooling off, take a dip in the pool, and then relax on the loungers in the sun or in the hammam.

Spacious pitches and many rental accommodations.

The campsite houses primarily families and young people. The pitches for these groups are separate from each other, but they are all spaciously laid out. Many trees provide shade. In addition, Biarritz campsite has a broad offering of rental accommodations. For example, choose from one of the caravans or rent a large bungalow tent for four to six people.

Facilities

You'll find the other facilities at the front of the campsite. In addition to the reception, there is a camping shop with a broad selection and a bar-restaurant. This is open daily for lunch or dinner (from 7:00 pm). The snack bar is open every day. The campsite also has a playground for the kids, a table tennis table and a jeu-de-boules pitch. Golf lovers can bring their clubs. There are a few lovely courses in the direct vicinity of the campsite.

Water sports

The environment around Biarritz is known around the world as an outstanding surfing location. So no surprise that many water sports enthusiasts like to spend their time here. But the beach - only a few hundred metres from the campsite - is also suitable for sunbathing and a dip in the water.

"Many young people like to camp at "Biarritz" campsite. This is mainly because this campsite is closest to the centre. There is a central swimming pool and a shop in front of reception. Basic but good toilet facilities. Biarritz is a real surfers' paradise. Public transport from the campsite."

Travelling party: Couple

Good site, you dont get the ACSI rate if you make a reservation online so you just have to show up and queue. We got a place as early Oct but by the eve site was full. Very easy cycle into Biarritz, bit hilly towards the end but worth it. Good bus service too.

  • From Bordeaux, take the A63 towards Bayonne. Take exit Biarritz and then on the D810 towards St. Jean-de-Luz. After 2 to 3 km turn right on the roundabout, onto the D655 and D911. After 5 km site is signposted at 2nd roundabout.
