Camping Paradis des Pins-Soulac is located on the Médoc peninsula, the wine region above Bordeaux on the western bank of the Gironde. Here you'll camp in a forest on the west coast of France, close to the Atlantic Ocean. The sea here is not only great for swimmers; also lots of surfers also head for the Atlantic coast. And of course wine lovers will also enjoy the region.

Camping in the forest
The location of the campsite, in the middle of a forest and close to the beach, has many advantages. You camp on a very quiet spot, which is largely sheltered by the dense foliage of the trees. In order to preserve the peace and quiet, cars are only allowed on the site upon arrival and departure. In between your car is parked on a separate parking lot. A disadvantage of camping in the woods is the subsoil; the touring pitches are on loose sand. It can take a while to level your camping equipment.
The Atlantic Ocean
Near the entrance of the campsite you will find the swimming pool. This is quite simple: rectangular and large enough, with a small area for toddlers. A nice place to cool down. You can also decide to go to the beach, which is perhaps easiest to reach by bike. Although you can also easily walk the two kilometers.
Soulac-sur-Mer
At the campsite you can eat a pizza in the restaurant, but if you want to taste local dishes, Soulac-sur-Mer is a great destination. You can count on it that one of the restaurants on the boulevard will serve different kinds of seafood.
