Camping Chez Gendron is a small-scale campsite in the Gironde countryside, amidst vineyards. The Dutch owners organise a lot for their young guests: from horse rides to craft days. Despite this hustle and bustle, you can enjoy peace and quiet on the vast campsite. If there is enough interest, the owners organise a guided tour with a tasting at one of the wineries in the area.

Quiet and spacious spot
The owners have made their place in the countryside of the Gironde a fine destination for those looking for peace and quiet. The campsite is spacious, especially considering the number of pitches. There are fifty touring pitches on the extensive lawns. These are not demarcated, which enhances the spaciousness. Some of the pitches are intended for tent campers. Opposite the fifty touring pitches are four rental accommodations.
Many playing possibilities
You'll find the swimming pool right at the entrance on the right. This is a nice place to play in the water, but certainly not the only place to have fun. With the playground, the large football field and the sweet goats, there is something to do for every young camping guest. Behind the campsite, in the woods, is a mountain bike trail.
On horseback
In high season Sander and Aletta organize fun activities. For example, craft hours, picnic tours and sports tournaments are on the program. But the icing on the cake are horseback rides. Five sweet ponies and horses, from small to large, are ready to be brushed and ridden, whether you are an experienced rider or have never been on a horse before.
