Camping de la Côte d'Argent is a campsite in Hourtin-Plage, Gironde, located by the sea, in a wood and by a lake/recreational pond.This terraced camp site and camp site with sloping grounds has which are marked out, pitches with shade, pitches without shade and pitches with some shade. For sportive holidaymakers the camp site offers various cycle routes. There is an entertainment programme and a fitness room. For those who want to relax after a busy day there is a solarium, whirlpool and a beauty centre. The camp site has a leisure pool, an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor pool with sliding roof and a toddlers' pool. There is also water slide. You can swim nearby in the sea and in a lake/recreational pond. At Camping de la Côte d'Argent you can go windsurfing and waterskiing.

You don't always have to cook, as the camp site has a snack bar, pizzeria, restaurant (with snack menu) and restaurant (with full menu). The camp site also supplies fresh bread. You can also use the internet, as you can access the internet with your own laptop in 80%-100% of the camp site.

Travelling party: Couple

Heerlijke vakantie gehad! Goede voorzieningen: grote campingsupermarkt met vers brood in de ochtend, open van 8-20 uur). Restaurant met afhaal, wijnshop, fitnesszaal, grote game-room met snooker, ping-pong en andere spellen. Mooi zwembad met ligstoelen (helaas wel handdoekje leggen). Open van 10-19 uur. Mag wel tot iets later. Zwembad te klein voor capaciteit in hoogseizoen, maar in 2024 komt er een nieuw zwemparadijs. Piraten waterspeelplaats met glijbanen erg in trek bij de kids. Houd je van levendigheid? Kies dan een plek op het voorste gedeelte. Houd je van meer rust? Kies dan een plek achteraan (wel een stuk lopen naar voorste gedeelte. Houd daar rekening mee!) Op de plek was helaas geen waterpunt, dus neem watertank/karretje mee. Nette sanitairgebouwen met goede douchestraal en lekker warm water. Wc papier hangt er ook. Strand vanaf camping prima te lopen. Je loopt door Hourtin-Plage langs leuke winkeltjes, surfshops en restaurantjes. Zee heeft veel golven en groot verschil tussen eb en vloed. Zwemgedeelte met lifeguards. Ook leuke strandjes aan het Lac d’Hourtin of in de haven van Hourtin. Grote supermarkt (Carrefour en Lidl) op 12 km in Hourtin zelf. In het hoogseizoen bijna iedere avond animatie bij het restaurant van 21:30-23:00. Er wordt ook veel georganiseerd bij de kidsclub.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Super mooie camping gelegen in pijnboombossen. Half schaduw half zon. Sanitair wordt meerdere keren per dag gepoetst. Er is wel geen toiletpapier voorzien. Ook wc borstel zou een pluspunt zijn mocht die aanwezig zijn. Zwembad top. Kids vonden piraten eiland de Max. Water is wel aan de koude kant en Ligbedden ontbreken aan het zwembad.

Niet vijf sterren camping waardig. Wel een mooi strand. Voor het strand moet je wel een stukje lopen. Toiletten niet altijd schoon, geen toiletpapier voor handen. Het lijkt of vijf sterren zijn toegekend voor het waterpark i.p.v. overige faciliteiten van de camping.

Heerlijk verblijf, stonden wel achterin, waardoor het een kilometer lopen was naar de voorkant. Verder keurige camping, misden alleen ligbedden bij het zwembad.
