Green surroundings by the water

After leaving the A89, it's about a 45-minute drive before you reach the entrance to the Flower Camping Trémolat Les Berges de la Dordogne campsite. After a warm welcome, you can head for your pitch or accommodation. There are many beautiful shaded spots available by the water or close to it.

Water fun, cycling and hiking

Water lovers will be in heaven here. The river is great for swimming, water skiing, canoeing and fishing. Of course, you can also take a refreshing dip in the camping pool.

Hikers and cyclists will also get their money's worth in this region. From the campsite, take the GR6 hiking trail and discover the 'Cingle de Trémolat' on foot or by bike. On this meandering route, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Dordogne River.

Facilities and activities at the campsite

After an exciting day out, there is no need to cook for yourself. With a restaurant, pizzeria and snack bar, there's plenty to choose from. And every morning, you can enjoy a delicious fresh bread roll. With several sports fields, a bocce court, a library and an activity room, there is always something to do at the campsite as well. Children will have fun with the entertainment team, in the playground or on the bouncy castle.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Liked - Helpful staff. Free tennis coaching for the children. Food in restaurant was fantastic. Site was clean. Swimming pool was spacious and plenty of sun beds. Access to bar from pool.
Disliked - Rubbish bins were overflowing.

Liked - The location is great and so are the facilities, this is the second time I’ve stayed here
Disliked - The village has little or no shops so a more extensive range of goods in the site shop would be good to buy groceries when in a Motorhome means packing up and driving off the site

Liked - The outdoor pool is large and great for proper swimming. It's not heated but was good temperature anyway. There is a smaller heated pool, probably still big enough for swimming lengths. And a fun pool for children. Lovely location next to river. Flat pitches. Restaurant location looked good with outside and inside but we didn't use it. Laundry good. Only one machine though. Washing up area very nicely done...except proximity to toilet cubicles.
Disliked - Some pitches didn't cope well in heavy rain and had big puddles. Toilets are right next to washing up sinks. Felt uncomfortable. No obvious cycle routes from site.

Liked - The campsite in general next to the dordogne river. Quiet and well organized. With nice entertainment
Disliked - For our kids (teenagers) they missed a bit kids of the same age who spoke English or Dutch so they could make some friends. But offcourse that is no complaint to the campsite.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - The setting of the campsite is peaceful and tranquil. The restaurant/bar serves excellent food and is the ideal place to meet and make friends. The family who own the site are so nice and so helpful they just make the holiday.
Disliked - Since Sebastian and his family took over the campsite all the things that needed doing have been done. The sanitary blocks have been completely modernised, a recycling centre has been established, children's facilities have increased, the swimming pool has been refurbished, a shop has been established and the site generally very well kept. I cannot think of anything that would improve this excellent site.
