Welcome!
eave the A20 motorway at Souillac and drive into the Dordogne valley. Camping Le Plein Air des Bories is located near the village of Carsac-Aillac, about ten kilometres below the town of Sarlat-la-Canéda. Driving from that village to the banks of the Dordogne will take you to a sparsely populated rural area. That's where the campsite is located.
Camping on the banks of the Dordogne
The camping fields with spacious touring pitches are alternated with rental accommodations. Many pitches are delimited by hedges or shrubs and are sheltered by trees. The most beautiful pitches are located directly by the river. The Dordogne has lovely swimming water and stays shallow on the banks for a long time. So if you are on holiday with small children, they can safely (but under supervision) swim in the river. There is also a swimming pool on the campsite. When it rains, the sliding roof closes.
Entertainment
For the little ones there is an entertainment programme during the summer months. Enjoy paella evenings and barbecues at the bar, the place to be also for karaoke and dancing. If you want to go out for dinner or do some shopping, Carsac-Aillac is a great destination.
