In the heart of the Dordogne, in the middle of the forest, lies Les Charmes. This family campsite lives up to its name: it is pleasant, quiet and fitted out with all conveniences. You camp on the grass under the trees. The owners will do everything they can to give their guests a pleasant holiday.

Natural camping

The campsite consists mainly of touring pitches, but there are also four lodge tents, four cabins and eight mobile homes. The pitches and rental accommodations are scattered along the winding paths. There are no straight roads or well-defined rows of camping pitches here. The pitches are laid out in the natural landscape. You camp here as if you were in a park: on the grass at the edge of the wood. The pitches are surrounded by tall trees and shrubs. Not only they provide enough shade and shelter, but you also have privacy around your tent or caravan.

Adventure and water fun

In addition to a covered, heated indoor pool with sliding roof, Les Charmes also has an outdoor pool. Moreover, there are two water slides that lead into a separate pool. The whole is laid out on terraces, surrounded by a sundeck from where you have a panoramic view over the surrounding hills. If you like more adventurous water fun, then you don't have to go very far. The river Dordogne is twelve kilometres from the campsite.

Always something to do

There are countless sights in the area. From castles and prehistoric cave paintings to impressive gorges and characteristic villages. The friendly owners know everything about the area and are happy to give tips about the most beautiful places and the best day trips
