Camping Rocher de la Granelle is a quiet family campsite in the Dordogne, located directly on the river Vézère. You camp here in the Périgord-Noir, known for its many caves with rock paintings (Lascaux). Choose one of the large, shady touring pitches right by the river and let your children loose on the campsite. At the bar you can enjoy a pizza or fries.

Camping by the river

Although the campsite is quite simple, you'll enjoy the large touring pitches under the trees. The abundant greenery on the campsite and the spacious pitches create a convivial atmosphere. Each pitch has plenty of shade and green hedges for the necessary privacy. The most beautiful pitches are situated directly at the calm waters of the river.

Friendly family campsite

Campers of all ages can have fun on the campsite, but you will mainly see families with younger children. The campsite organises a lot in high season. Think of a mini club, rides in a tourist train and karaoke afternoons. Adult guests can also seek out the cosiness, for example during dance evenings.

Outdoor pool and river

In a sunny area to the left of the entrance is the large outdoor swimming pool: the meeting point for the youth. On sunny days you will see many children here, playing in the pool and racing off the water slide. For toddlers there is a paddling pool. You can also swim in the river. Via a small beach at the back of the campsite you can walk into the shallow, calm water. Canoes are waiting for you on the bank, time for a relaxing trip.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - outstanding is the team around Celine and Jean Yves. The are living their dream and do really anything to make your stay comfortable.

Liked - We visit regularly and it's like visiting a second home. The staff are friendly, it's a quiet semi-rural site, but in a very convenient location to walk to the shops or town, and in the centre of an interesting area.
