In the heart of the green Dordogne, you'll be camping at this campsite in a natural setting away from the crowds, but next to a small village. Within a few steps, you will find yourself on the beach on the river with lots of trees, where children can swim and play nicely at the small reservoir. The area around Camping Le Clupeau is known for its many attractions, such as old villages, caves, castles and play parks. Hiking and cycling enthusiasts will be in the right place, because there are no less than 120 kilometres of marked trails around the campsite.

Camping by the water in the Dordogne
Following a rural road south of the Périgord-Limousin Natural Regional Park, you will arrive at the campsite's entrance by the water. The attentive owners will welcome you, and at the front of the campsite you will find the terrace, the playground and the reception. A walk to the nearby village of Cherveix-Cubas is a pleasant outing if you want to stretch your legs.
Privacy and quiet
Peace and quiet are the key words at the campsite. And this is reflected in the 33 beautiful demarcated pitches surrounded by numerous trees and shrubs. That means both pleasantly shaded sites for a tent, campervan or caravan and plenty of privacy. Right on the waterfront, you'll find the most appealing pitches, but the spots in the midfield also look neat and spacious. You also camp there if you rent a mobile home. There is a sanitary block that looks very clean and modern.
