Municipal Campsite Molsheim in the Alsace is exactly what you would expect from a campsite in this border region (France-Germany). Enjoy the timbered buildings and the wine landscape, the beautiful broad-leaved trees on the campsite and the municipal swimming pool on the other side of the road.

Timbered houses and broad-leaved trees
It's another two kilometres to the campsite from the motorway. You will drive through the town of Molsheim before reaching the campsite. The campsite is beautifully situated opposite the town's swimming complex with linden trees and red beeches. The reception is based in a timbered house where the manager, Laurent, or his assistant, Vanessa, bids you a warm welcome. You can find tourist information here and you can collect your previously ordered fresh bread.
Spacious shaded pitches
On your way to your pitch, you will drive over a park-like terrain covered with beautiful trees. The pitches are very spacious and are shaded by the broad-leaved trees. The campers - both families and couples and sometimes groups - have various nationalities.
Swimming
Across from the entrance lies the municipal swimming pool with several pools, a patio and large lawns where you can sunbathe, as well as a bar, a restaurant and an ice cream seller. The swimming pool is freely accessible for camping guests.
Facilities
The best place to shop is at the Super-U, a large department store. You will also find many restaurants in town (within walking distance). The sanitary facilities are, just like the reception, located in a large timbered building.
Wine route with wine tasting
Unique is the 'La Route des Vins d'Alsace', a wine route which passes lovely villages with timbered houses and their characteristic flower decorations. As part of the route, you can do a wine tasting at one of the local wine producers.
