On the Danish island of Lolland, the fine Nysted Strand Camping is situated at the edge of a bay. Whether you're on a hiking or cycling holiday or just looking for a relaxing place to spend a fortnight with your family, this green campsite is the perfect place for you. Go swimming, fishing, or canoeing in the sea, do some reading on the beach, or walk to the cosy harbour town of Nysted.

From family destination to cycling holiday

Nysted Strand Camping is a neat green campsite divided into several camping fields. You can also rent bungalows, hiker's huts, caravans and apartments. The touring pitches are spacious, and the sanitary facilities are well maintained. There are also sanitary facilities for the disabled and children's and family sanitary facilities. The campsite is right on the water, and from all the pitches, you can walk right to the beach. For campers on the move, there are convenient facilities such as a kitchen and a communal barbecue area.

Catching shrimps

The campsite attracts a diverse clientele of families, itinerant campers and hiking, cycling and fishing enthusiasts. There is no planned entertainment for the children here, but there is a playground, bouncy castle, sports field, table tennis table and a giant chessboard. That's plenty of great places to meet new playmates! And of course, you'll feel drawn to the beach, where you can swim and build sandcastles every day. Other fun activities include pony rides and catching shrimp. Or why not rent a canoe or kayak and explore the bay.

Fresh rolls

During the high season, from June to September, the campsite restaurant is open. You can also get snacks and pizza from the snack bar and fresh bread rolls for your breakfast. A campsite shop offers some necessary items. Additional shopping can be done in Nysted in a matter of minutes.
