At the Vesterlyng Strand, in the middle of a nature reserve, you'll find a dream spot overlooking the sea. Vesterlyng Camping, in Danish Seeland, is a family campsite located 800 metres from the beach.


Here you can camp on spacious pitches with a view of the sea.

Largest pool

The campsite has a swimming pool with a beautifully landscaped sunbathing area. The largest swimming pool, however, is just a few minutes' walk away: the sea!

The children can also climb in the playground, jump on the trampoline or help feed the farm animals each day. Tee off together on the mini golf course.

The campsite's sanitary facilities are beautifully tiled with neat washbasins. You can also enjoy a rainshower.

Vesterlyng Café

If you decide not to cook for yourself, you can eat out nearby. Vesterlyng Café is the 'place to be' and also offers take-away. You can get your groceries in the supermarket opposite the harbour. There is a walking/cycling path from the campsite to the harbour (2 km). You can also buy bread in the campsite shop.

From pure nature to Copenhagen

You can enjoy cycling and walking in the vicinity of the campsite. The campsite is located on the Kattegat. This is a mecca for watersports enthusiasts and fishermen. Take a ferry ride to one of the islands that you can see from Vesterlyng Strand.

It's also well worth taking a day trip to Copenhagen (92 km away), one of Europe's hippest cities. It's Tivoli Gardens amusement park is great fun for young and old alike.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Rustige familiecamping met hoofdzakelijk Deense camping gasten. Strand op loopafstand. Leuke midgetgolf. Vriendelijk personeel. Sommige plekken hebben prachtig uitzicht op zee. Daar betaal je wel extra voor. Omgeving is bijzonder geschikt voor wandel- of fietstochten.
