On the southernmost tip of Denmark, on the eastern coast of Southern Jutland, lies the small-scale and charming campsite Broager. You will camp in a very peaceful area in the middle of the natural landscape. Broager is a campsite for adults or families with children who are looking for peace and quiet and enjoy an active lifestyle.

Well-cared-for

As soon as you arrive, you will notice the care and attention that has been devoted to the campsite. The campsite has a welcoming atmosphere, which fits in well with the simplicity and tranquillity of the area. There are no roads nearby, so you will have peace here day and night.

Your pitch

Everything on the grounds is well-maintained and in good condition. You will find fine grass pitches, with wide, gravelled paths in between. There are few trees on the campsite grounds. The terrain is, therefore, quite open. The newly planted trees do not yet offer much shade and coolness. Further back on the camping grounds, there is a thicket which provides some shelter. The terrain is slightly more hilly here. You can also rent a hiker's cabin at this campsite.

For active campers and people looking for peace and quiet

You will not find a swimming pool or an entertainment programme here, but the natural surroundings more than make up for this. There are plenty of hiking and cycling opportunities in this attractive region. If you're looking for water sports, you only have to cross a dead-end street. Go wild in and on the water: swimming, snorkelling, windsurfing, kayaking or canoeing. At the tranquil water's edge, you will find a sand and a pebble beach. There is a grassy playing/sunbathing field, a few picnic tables, and a small playground.

It is a quiet gem directly to the forest and beach. The owners are exceptionally friendly and service-minded and do everything to make you feel comfortable.

  • From E45 motorway exit 73 dir. Sønderborg. Follow route 8 to Nybol then towards Broager to 1st traffic lights left. After traffic lights in Broager 1st right dir. Skelde. After 3.5 km straight ahead in Dynt. From there signposted.
