First Camp Bøjden Strand – Fyn is a family campground on the west coast of the Danish island of Funen. Here you can camp directly on the Baltic Sea, on a well-kept campsite with spacious camping pitches. You can look out over the vast water from every location on the sloping terrain. There is daily entertainment for young and old at the campsite with a playground, a beautiful mini golf course and an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The sea also provides plenty of water fun.

Despite the considerable size of the campsite, finding your camping pitch won't take long. The campsite is well organised. There are 130 camping pitches on well-kept lawns, marked by thick hedges. Because the campsite slopes downwards, even the camping pitches that are closest to the entrance overlook the sea. You can also camp right on the beach.

Swimming indoors or outdoors?

The swimming paradise is at the centre of the campsite. Next to the outdoor swimming pool is a large toddlers' pool, where the smallest water lovers can play under the sprinkler. The older children will especially appreciate the water slide. You have a view of the indoor pool from the outdoor pool. Here too there is something for everyone. The deeper swimming pool is accompanied by a paddling pool with a small castle.

Beach and sea

Not to mention: this campsite is located directly on the Baltic Sea. The beach is not particularly wide, but there's also enough space in the grass for you to spread out your beach towel. The water remains shallow for a long time, so that even the smaller children can paddle safely here. You can reach a slightly deeper part of the sea via a long jetty.

Wir waren Ende Juni für 4 Tage auf dem Platz, hatten mit der der ACSI Karte einige schöne Stellplätze zur Auswahl, unter anderem auch direkt am Wasser. Der Platz ist sehr schön gestaltet, der Blick auf die Ostsee zu jeder Tageszeit fantastisch. Zum Baden führt ein Steg ins Wasser, so dass man bequem schwimmen gehen kann. Vom Platz aus konnten wir viele Radtouren in die Umgebung machen. Das idyllische Faaborg und der Hafen mit seinen Fähren zu den vorgelagerten Inseln sind so gut erreichbar. Einziges Ärgernis unseres Aufenthaltes war am Ende ein Fehler in der Rechnung. Das Büro hatte auf unsere Nachfrage hin zwar den Fehler bemerkt, wir haben aber trotz mehrerer Rückfragen nie eine Erstattung erhalten. Daher fällt die Bewertung für das Personal schlecht aus.
