This spacious campsite with excellent facilities is located in the north of Denmark, in the North Jutland region. Here you can camp on spacious fields or rent a wooden bungalow or Scandinavian-style cabin. Tornby Strand Campsite is a fifteen-minute walk from the beach of the same name and a seven-minute drive from the harbour town of Hirtshals, where you will find various restaurants and shops. The ferry to Norway departs from this location, which makes the campsite an ideal place for travellers to stay overnight. But Tornby Strand is also a great place to enjoy a wonderful beach holiday.

Space and cleanliness

Upon your arrival at the neat and well-maintained campsite, you will be welcomed by the friendly owners. The camping pitches are large and separated by hedges. There are also pitches which allow you to camp on an open field.

There are a few sanitary blocks scattered around the campsite, some of which have been renovated. The buildings that still need to be modernised may not be gleamingly new, but they are spotlessly clean and meet all necessary requirements.

Entertainment and water recreation

For swimming fanatics there are no less than two swimming pools, an indoor and outdoor pool. The indoor pool is not very large, but meets guests' needs. The outdoor pool has a deep end and a shallow end for small children. In addition to the swimming pools, the campsite has a nice mini golf course, where you can putt with the whole family. The youngest guests can also let off steam on the playground and on the football field.

Liked - Een nette camping met prachtige badkamers. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst.
Disliked - Het afwaswater is niet warm genoeg.
Ik vind het niet prettig om tussen jaarplaatsen te staan. Liever op een trekkersveld waardoor je meer contact hebt met mede kampeerders. Mensen met jaarplaatsen zijn erg op zichzelf en afstandelijk. Tussen lege caravans staan is niet fijn.
