In the middle of Jutland, in a very water-rich area, lies the village of Humlum, between the Nissum Bredning and the Venø Sund,. Humlum Camping & Fiskerleje is located right by the harbour of the town on the Venø Sund. From the somewhat higher Humlum, which is reached via road 11, a signposted road leads down directly to the harbour and the campsite.

Once you arrive at the campsite you can see that it is in an open area and on the waterfront, directly connected to the marina. The campsite consists of nine streets on which the pitches are neatly arranged.
Danish camping
Humlum Camping & Fiskerleje is a typical Danish campsite: modern and well maintained and tightly organised with demarcated pitches. The campsite, like most Danish campsites, has quite a few seasonal pitches, while travelling through tourists are of course welcome on their own part of the site. The pitches are spacious, but offer little shade. The campsite has five modern, well-equipped hiker's huts and holiday cottages.
Swimming and fishing
The Venø Sund offers plenty of opportunity for swimming and sunbathing on the beach and the campsite has many playgrounds for children. From the marina you can make fishing and boat trips on the Venø Sund and Nisum Bredning. Kayaks can be rented from the reception. The reception is the heart of the camping complex with a small shop (købmand) for daily shopping. The nearest supermarkets can be found in Struer, as well as restaurants. The campsite has two toilet blocks with particularly good facilities for families with small children.
