Campsite Gyvelborg is located in the midst of the hills of Middle Jutland not far from the Nørre Snede. Gyvelborg is equally far from the west coast (with its beautiful sandy beaches) and the east coast (with the fascinating town of Aarhus). The campsite is part of an ecological farm with Jersey dairy cows. As a camping guest, you really live among the farm animals, with rabbits, guinea pigs, cats and a dog as well as cows.

Spacious campsite
The campsite makes a spacious, clean and charming impression. The grounds are well-kept. The pitches vary in size, but are always spacious enough. In the farm shop you will find products from the ecologically run company, such as milk, meat, juices and jams. Guests can also buy bread and some other groceries.
Book one of the accommodations
There are three wooden chalets on the property which offer a lovely view of the valley. These chalets are suitable for a maximum of six people and have a living room with open kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet and two bedrooms. The three chalets have plenty of space between them, so you have ample privacy. Gyvelborg also offers adventurous wooden shelters with campfire spots, in which you really spend the night in nature.
There are also two bungalow tents, and an apartment renovated in 2014 (both suitable for up to four persons). The apartment is especially luxurious with TV, stereo and a fully equipped kitchen including ceramic hob, oven and coffee machine.
Activities on and around the campsite
On the farm you can participate in various activities, such as a cow cuddle or playing farmer for a day (help with feeding, milking and mowing). You can also walk around the farm in the lovely nature of Middle Jutland.
