First Camp Ajstrup Strand - Aarhus is located right by the Kattegat, on the east coast of Danish Mid Jutland. You can camp here next to the beach on spacious camping grounds which primarily feature touring pitches. Beachgoers will find their way to the water easily and quickly; within just a few moments, you will feel the sand beneath your feet. With its comprehensive and modern sanitation facilities for young and old, this campsite is fully equipped with all the amenities.

Spacious touring pitches and cosy cabins

380 touring pitches are situated on large lawns which are demarcated by hedges and natural greenery. However, you also have a choice of pitches which are quite separate, offering you ample privacy. The cabins on the campsite are very cosy but may be a tad small for an extended stay.

Beach camping

First Camp Ajstrup Strand - Aarhus is a campsite dedicated to beach and sea enthusiasts. A small path takes you from the campsite to the beach in no time at all. Even though this sandy beach is not excessively broad, beachgoers can relax in the sand for hours on end. Swimmers may also count themselves lucky because the temperature of the water is very pleasant in the summer.

Child-friendly campsite

Young camping guests will definitely enjoy the beach, but the campsite itself also has plenty to offer. They can enjoy themselves to their heart's content in the playground, especially on the popular bouncy castle. A round of mini golf or a game of football with the entire family always makes for lots of fun. The sanitary facilities have been designed with little campers in mind as well. The two large sanitation buildings on the camping grounds include children's sanitary facilities, family bathrooms and baby rooms.

Travelling party: Couple

Mooie camping, aardige mensen. Wij hadden zeer ruime plek, tegen extra betaling. Camping ligt direct aan zee. Ligging t.o.v bezienswaardige zaken prima, zoals de stad Aarhus. Aanwezige faciliteiten zijn goed, maar voor de prijs verwacht je wel een kampwinkel (ze hebben alleen broodservice) en/of een restaurant. Vooral omdat het aantal eetlokaties in de omgeving mager is.
