Blushøj Camping is situated in Central Jutland, a few kilometres southeast of Ebeltoft, on a large promontory and directly by the sea. The campsite is simple in design, but located in a beautiful setting amidst greenery and is impeccably maintained. Everyone is welcome, but the campsite is mainly frequented by young families. This makes perfect sense, considering the lovely swimming pool and the child-friendly atmosphere.

Space and privacy

The grounds are partly level and partly laid out in terraces. There is ample space and as a result also ample privacy. There is a large diversity of sites and pitches, all on a nice grass surface. You can camp by the sea, or in a more sheltered spot. You can also rent a cabin on Blushøj Camping.

Swimming and more

Children will thoroughly enjoy themselves in the large playground with air cushion and in the large, heated swimming pool, complete with cool slide. There is also a toddler pool. The swimming pool is in a sheltered location and has an adjacent terrace with a few tables and chairs.

Prefer swimming in the sea? That is also an option! There is a walkway leading down to a narrow strip of beach. There is a wooden pier with stairs to get into the water. It is also an excellent starting point for windsurfing.

Eating out of (caravan)doors

The campsite supermarket is well-stocked. You can also buy daily fresh bread here. Do you feel like cooking, but not near the tent? If so, there is a well-equipped kitchen unit with individual cooking areas. If you want to eat out, you will have to go to the nearby, friendly village of Ebeltoft.

Blushoj is een relaxte camping met ongedwongen sfeer en
gastvrij personeel. Ideale plek om fietstochten te maken.
Ebeltoft is een leuke plaats op fiets afstand, met oude gebouwen en gezellige sfeer.
In de avond lekker eten in de vele restaurants en op de fiets terug.
Voor een grotere stad is Århus een leuke stad om te bezoeken. Open lucht museum van de Deense geschiedenis. Daarnaast botanische tuinen. Stadscentrum heeft mooie winkels en een scala aan restaurants.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Wij verbleven hier 3de week augustus. Dit was al duidelijk een laagseizoen voor deze camping gezien het aantal open plekken. Vooral voor (kleinere) kinderen was dit een leuke camping, zeer leuke speeltuin, overzichtelijk zwembad.
Het sanitair is verouderd, kan wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Het is echter wel schoon.
Camping ligt verder van het plaatsje Ebeltoft; dit geeft wel rust en ruimte, tegelijkertijd ben je dus aangewezen op vervoer, te voet was niet te doen.
De ligging van de camping, op een klif, was machtig mooi, zeker als je een plaats met zicht op het Kattegat hebt.

Geweldige camping. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, sanitair zeer schoon. Geweldige ligging en uitzichten door terrassen. Kiosk met voor een camping redelijk veel producten. Vergenoeg speeltoestellen. Een aanrader

Een geweldige vakantie gehad in Denemarken. Wat een prachtig en schoon land is dit toch. Overal zit statiegeld op, tot op blikjes toe. Je vind geen rommel in de berm. Deze camping is een natuurlijke terassencamping gelegen aan de zee het Kattegat. We hadden een geweldige plaats op het laagste terras van de camping met adembenemend uitzicht over het Kattegat en het onbewoond eiland Hjelm. Heel vroeg in de morgen kon je dolfijnen zien zwemmen en genieten van een prachtige zonsopkomst. \'s Avonds kon je genieten van een prachtige sterrenhemel zonder lichtvervuiling. Je kon zelfs de melkweg zien. Het zwembad is echt heerlijk om in te vertoeven. Er zijn twee sanitairgebouwen. Het sanitair is schoon en netjes. Andere voorzieningen zoals afwas, was en kook gelegenheid zijn prima in orde. 5 km verderop ligt het mooie stadje Ebeltoft. Heerlijk om in de oude straatjes rond te slenteren en een terrasje te pikken. Kortom deze camping en omgeving zijn zeker aan te raden.
