This campsite is located on the quiet peninsula of Djursland in Central Jutland, Denmark, on the outskirts of the town of Auning. It is an atmospheric and fairly small-scale campsite with a natural character. Many campers use Auning Camping as a base from which to go on beautiful walking and cycling tours in the surrouding rural and wooded areas. The campsite itself has a cosy bar, a shop and various sports and play facilities. The sanitary facilities were completely renovated in 2021.

Book a large camping pitch or rent a log cabin

Real camping enthusiasts can rejoice at Auning Camping. Tourist camping pitches clearly predominate here. These are also very spacious grass pitches on a terrain rich in natural vegetation. In addition to touring pitches, there are a number of accommodation rentals, such as caravans and modern log cabins.

Play a game of krolf

This campsite organises various fun events throughout the season. One of the year's highlights is the traditional summer festival in July. But the campsite also offers plenty of entertainment outside of these events. There is a nice children's playground and various sports facilities. Also, you absolutely must try your hand at the typical Scandinavian game of krolf! This is a ball game in which the players try to hit the ball into a hole with a hammer.

Well-stocked shop

Auning Camping has its own shop with a fairly large range of foodstuffs. You can also order fresh bread. You will find several larger supermarkets in the centre of Auning (1 km away). There is also a cosy bar.

Liked - Enormt hyggelig campingplads, med masser af grønne omgivelser. Meget rene og lækre fællesfaciliteter, helt nye toiletter og bad. Så lækkert med muligheden for at vaske op og lave mad i udendørskøkkenet.
Masser af mulighed for leg til børnene. Biblioteket vakte stor lykke hos vores børn, der nød at kunne låne nye bøger hver dag.
