Camping Paklenica with an adjacent pebble beach is situated directly on an inlet of the Adriatic Sea, some 40 km from the historical harbour town of Zadar. You camp here on camping pitches at the water's edge or in modern rental accommodation. The campsite forms an ideal basis to explore the mountainous Paklenica National Park and to add a sporty touch to your camping holiday in Croatia.

View of the sea

Paved pathways lead to the pitches over a well maintained terrain. These are alternated with modern and well equipped mobile homes. The most beautiful spots are found at the water's edge. You will find no shade here, but there is a beautiful view of the sea.

Attractive pebble beach

The lovely pebble beach off the campsite is a great place for an afternoon of sunbathing and swimmig. You can also head out to sea by canoe or rowing boat from here. There are more spots by the water where you can relax and indulge in several water sports. You can also go for a swim in the campsite swimming pool.

Visiting Zadar

Camping Paklenica is located in a less-visited region of Croatia. Yet, there are several attractive towns in the area which you can visit. Zadar, for instance (a 45-minute drive away). In this harbour town you will find the Saint Donatus Church and the Roman Forum. Zadar is also well-known for its beautiful sunsets.

Spoilt for choice

The restaurant on the campsite has a good menu with fair pricing, but there is a much wider range in Starigrad and the immediate vicinity.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

De camping is mooi gelegen aan een baai. De plaatsen zijn ruim en meestal in de schaduw (plaatsen 29-31 staan wel erg in de zon de hele dag). De camping is over het algemeen rustig, behalve op 15 augustus, wat een nationale feestdag is. Dan is er veel muziek en rond middernacht vuurwerk (niet ideaal als je de volgende dag vroeg moet vertrekken).
Het sanitair is schoon, maar kan wel een stukje lopen zijn, omdat 1 gebouw buiten gebruik is. Er is geen campingwinkeltje. Voor broodjes en andere boodschappen kun je terecht bij Tommy supermarkt net buiten de camping (behalve op de nationale feestdag). Het strand is een kiezelstrand met ondiepe zee. Daardoor geschikt voor kinderen, maar niet heel koel. Er is een barretje aan het strand voor drankjes, aar je kunt er ook hamburger met frietjes to go bestellen (dat ze in het restaurant klaarmaken).
Er is veel te doen in de omgeving, maar alles is wel een eindje rijden, omdat je telkens de kustweg af moet (waar je meestal maar 50 km/u mag rijden). Zadar is een gezellig plaatsje (minimaal 45 minuten rijden).

Wat een fijne camping. Gemoedelijke sfeer en 's nachts over het algemeen rustig. We kampeerden tussen de pijnbomen, olijfbomen en vijgenbomen. Superschoon sanitair, dat werd de hele dag schoongemaakt. Heerlijk gesnorkeld in zee en gezwommen in het zwembad. Klein restaurant. Supermarkt om de hoek. Voor een goedkopere supermarkt moet je wel een flink stuk rijden. 1 sanitairgebouw was dicht, maar hier geen last van gehad. Je kunt in 15-20 minuten lopen naar het gezellige dorpje.

verzorgde camping met klein kiezelstrand en zwembad. Vlakbij (te voet erheen, is te doen) het Nationaal Park Paklenica.

Samen met vrienden op deze camping gestaan.
Lekker dichtbij het dorp waar erg veel te doen was en prachtige parken.
Heerlijk zwembad waar we elke morgen gelijk na het schoonmaken gingen zwemmen.
Goed en schoon sanitair en zeer vriendelijk personeel

Prima camping met mooie plaatsen direct aan zee. Vriendelijk personeel en goed restaurant. Het sanitair was netjes. Van het hotel totaal geen last. En een supermarkt op loopafstand.

Sanitaire zeer oud, defect en vies Personeel begrijpt onze frustratie management doet niets. Animatie voor kinderen bij hotel hier is echter een hek tussen geplaatst. Zwembad klein netjes alleen trap mist 2 treden ,bedjes zijn stuk en er komen verl mensen van buiten de camping. Omgeving zeer mooi begrijp alleen 4 sterren niet. jaarlijks gecontroleerd? Niet dit jaar camping is niet meer wat het ooit was.

sanitaire bar slecht, smerig, veel kapot of werkt niet; personeel receptie buitengewoon ongeïnteresseerd, we hadden over de camping gelopen en zeker 10 vrije plaatsen gezien, de receptie dames vertelde geen plek alles bezet ?
Nadat ik de 10 lege plekken kon aangegeven konden we er ineens wel op.

Zeker geen 5 sterren waard, sanitaire veel kapot, smerig; veel dagtoerisme dus bij het water liggen kan bijna niet. Receptiepersoneel niet vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Onbegrijpelijk dat 1 toiletgebouw gesloten is (blijkbaar al jaren) de camping staat helemaal vol en er zijn 5 douches dus dat is onnodig in de rij staan
