There are, of course, plenty of luxury resorts in Croatia and Europe but ... a resort that extends over an entire uninhabited island? This is the case with the Obonjan Island Resort, which covers the entire island of Obonjan in the Šibenik archipelago (Croatia). This small wooded island, surround by the clear blue water of the Adriatic Sea, can be accessed by boat from the city of Šibenik. Once you are at this heavenly island resort, you lack for nothing. There is an outdoor swimming pool, various beaches, entertainment, three restaurants, three bars, a supermarket and a medical post.

What kinds of accommodation are there?

You go glamping on Obonjan Island Resort. Stay overnight in one of the glamping lodges with a view of the sea or woods. Luxury holiday cottages and safari tents can also be rented. If you choose the latter, then you use one of the three communal toilet blocks.

Plenty of options for swimming. Obonjan Island Resort has a beautiful swimming pool where you can cool off or swim some laps. Aqua-aerobic classes, pool volleyball games and swimming races take place regularly in this outdoor pool.

Enjoy Dalmatian beach life to the fullest

Several swimming docks have been installed along the rocky island coast, including at East Beach, the most popular beach on the island. The West Harbor beach, where it is calmer, also has a ladder to reach the water. In addition, there are several well-hidden inlets where, with a bit of luck, you can set up a private beach. Water sports enthusiasts can go kayaking, standup paddleboarding, snorkelling, jet skiing or take a ride on a banana boat.
