Camping Valkanela is a large and versatile campsite on the Adriatic coast, a few kilometres north of the town of Vrsar. At this bustling campsite you will find everything you need for a complete and carefree camping holiday: several restaurants and bars, swimming pools and plenty of entertainment for young and old.

Pitches by the sea

On the campsite you have plenty of choice of pitches. For example, there are more than 1,200 touring pitches on the site. The closer to the sea, the more expensive the pitches, but also the more luxurious they are. If you want a standard pitch, you are in the beautiful forest, a little further from the water. The choice is also wide in mobile homes. Some of the rental accommodations even have small (shared) swimming pools on their doorstep.

For the whole family

Close to the beach is the large swimming pool. The whole family can go here, as there are several pools. Cool down in a deeper pool, a separate pool for the slightly older children and a spacious paddling pool. Around the pools you can sunbathe or lie in the shade on the lawn. The swimming pools are more often the centre of the entertainment team, which in the summer months provides a full entertainment programme for campers of all ages.

Adriatic Sea

The campsite has built its pitches around a beautiful bay of the Adriatic Sea. Because of this, campers have access to a long (secured) pebble beach with sunbeds, from where they can take a dip in the water. There are small pontoons at the campsite where you can moor your boat, and nearby the water sports possibilities are endless.

Wir fahren zweimal im Jahr dorthin mit Hund, bester Strand ,super Essen in Funtana und Vrsar. Tolle Gegend und super Pool. Für alle was dabei.

Der Campingplatz verfügt über einen Hafen mit Kran was eine ideale Kombination darstellt (Camping & Boot) und seit heuer auch über eine Tauchbasis.

Waren im September 2020 für 3 Wochen mit Womo dort. Der Platz war nicht voll belegt.
Toiletten und Waschräume waren wie immer sehr sauber. Personal gewohnt freundlich.
Waren bereits 3X dort und werden wiederkommen.

Bei der Eröffnung nicht Gemäht .Wlan geht nicht einmal auf dem halben Platz.Bei nachfrage wird einem geantwortet der Elektriker kommt nicht und das war leider 5 Wochen lang .Die WC wurden auch nur halbwegs geputzt.Das Tor wo man hinten nach Funtana gehen konnte wurde auch nicht mehr aufgesperrt bei nachfrage an der Reception wurde uns geantwortet das war immer zugesperrt ,was nicht stimmt .die vorigen Jahre war das Tor Tagsüber immer offen nur Nachts wurde es zugesperrt . Der Strandzugang neben dem alten Gasthaus werden die Büsche nicht Geschnitten . Am Strand könnte das Seegras auch öfters weggeräumt werden .
