We have made a list of the five coolest campsites with a pump track or skatepark for the urban athletes among us. As a bonus, we’ve added two awesome skate spots located close to a campsite. With this skate holiday, boredom is simply not an option.

A quick refresher
For those who might be new to pump tracks or could use a quick refresher, let’s start with the basics. A pump track is a circuit with rolling hills and banked turns, typically made of asphalt. You generate speed by shifting your body weight, pushing and pulling to “pump” yourself forward. Pump tracks are perfect for stunt scooters, skateboards, and inline skates. Cyclists can also hone their mountain biking skills on these tracks!
Besides being a place to improve your skills, pump tracks and skate parks are great social hubs. You can enjoy the outdoors, meet new people, and stay active. Remember, safety first: always wear a helmet and protective gear, and give others space.

Capfun Camping De Pekelinge, at the dutch coast
Capfun Camping De Pekelinge is in a peaceful setting on the coast of Zeeland. But don’t worry, there’s no shortage of action here. The campsite features its very own pump track, which is a favorite among guests. Challenge yourself on this exciting course!

Camping L’Àmfora on the Costa Brava near Figueres
Camping l’Àmfora is perfect for thrill-seekers. This campsite boasts a pump track designed for hours of fun. There’s also a trampoline park, climbing park, sports garden, and a stunning pool with water slides. L’Àmfora is located on the Spanish coast where you can go (kite)surfing. You can take lessons through the campsite. There is something for all ages so there’s no reason for you to sit still for a second. However, if you’re in the mood for a laid-back day, indulge in the luxury wellness facilities available on-site.

Camping Sandaya Domaine de la Dragonnière near Sérignan
Camping Sandaya Domaine de la Dragonnière has its own pump track and skate park, making it a Valhalla for urban athletes. There is also plenty for kids and youngsters to do. Club Junior and Club Teens often organise activities, including breakdancing lessons. Domaine de la Dragonnière is also the place to be to cool down after skating or dancing! The campsite is known for its large leisure pool. It has an indoor and outdoor pool with fabulous slides and playgrounds.

Pumptrack TerSpegelt near Eindhoven, the Netherlands
Recreatiepark TerSpegelt has its very own pump track, perfect for testing your speed and skills. Can you get round this track the fastest? And if the weather doesn’t cooperate, you can enjoy the indoor water park at TerSpegelt, filled with play structures and slides.
There are three recreational lakes in the vicinity of the campsite. There, you can go surfing, stand-up paddle boarding and do many more water sports. If you’d prefer to go skating, TerSpegelt is in the vicinity of Tilburg and Eindhoven. A day trip to Ladybird skatepark in Tilburg or Area 51 skatepark in Eindhoven is perfect for you!

Camping L’île aux mille Charmes in the Vosges
Nestled by the Moselle River in the Vosges region, Camping L’île aux mille Charmes is set in a scenic, hilly area perfect for cycling and mountain biking. And not only that, there’s a cool skatepark right next to the campsite! This skatepark is in a recreational area between a football pitch and a small animal park. While grinding a rail, you have a view of the Canal de l’Est and the village of Charmes. You won’t find another skatepark that is as charming as this one.

Skatepark Zeeburgereiland in Amsterdam
Camping Zeeburg Amsterdam is a 10-minute drive or 5-minute bike ride from Zeeburgeiland skatepark. This skatepark is the largest concrete skatepark in the Netherlands and is suitable for skaters of all ages and level. While the campsite is close to Amsterdam, it feels like a retreat surrounded by greenery and water. It truly gives you the feeling of being on an island, yet the city center is only a 20-minute bike ride away.

La Faute-sur-Mer skatepark near La Rochelle, France
This brand-new blue-and-yellow skatepark in France has something for everyone. Due to its large surface area, you can ride round the park as if it’s a pump track. Try dropping into the pool or grinding one of the rails. You’re bound to leave this skatepark with a new skill to show off back home.
Just northeast of the skatepark, you will find Flower Camping Le Pré des Sables. Just a short walk from the Atlantic Ocean and 10 minutes from the village of L’Aiguillon-sur-Mer, this campsite is perfectly situated.
