Camping de Renval is situated on the outskirts of Bastogne (Bastenaken) in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes. The campsite, situated in a hilly landscape with forests and winding rivers, consists mainly of a rather large field with spaciously demarcated pitches.

Bastogne is, of course, mostly known for the Battle of the Bulge (1944). You will find a number of reminders of this in the region, such as the American tank near the Tourist Information offices and the impressive Mardasson Memoral, just outside the town.
Large camping
Of the 270 pitches on the campsite grounds, 150 are reserved for permanent guests who have their caravans there. The remainder is allocated to mobile homes and tents/caravans. The pitches for the mobiles homes have water and electricity. There is free wifi all over the campground.
Belgian beers and trout on the barbecue
The cafeteria has a lovely terrace and spacious facilities, including a wide choice of Belgian beers and small snacks. The restaurant offers a small menu with dishes from the grill, fish and shellfish. On the campsite there is also a fishing pond where you can catch your own trout, which you can subsequently prepare on the barbecue. The sanitary facilities are housed in two heated buildings, where you will also find washing machines and dryers.
Activities
In addition to the mini golf course, the campsite has a petanque pitch (jeu de boules). Furthermore, there are tennis courts, squash courts and signposted walking and cycling routes in the immediate vicinity. The outstanding RAVel-parcours (to Wiltz and Gouvy) over traffic-calmed roads makes for excellent walking and cycling.
