Blauwe Meer in Lommel is an inviting campsite in a green, forest environment. As the name suggests, there is a lake in the centre of the park featuring a sunbathing lawn. Fans of indoor water fun will enjoy a swimming paradise. After a day full of fun, head to the campsite restaurant for a tasty meal. You can also hire a barbecue and gourmet set from reception for a fun, culinary evening.

Accommodation on a green campsite

Blauwe Meer is an inviting, tidy campsite with spacious pitches that are demarcated and surrounded by nature. The rental accommodation includes well maintained, furnished bungalows and mobile homes. Groups of up to 24 people can stay in the De Lommelse Hoef group accommodation with a private swimming pool and sauna. 

Water fun outside and inside

The centre of campsite Blauwe Meer features a lovely lake with a wonderful sandy beach. Enjoy fun in the water in and around the recreation lake during a camping holiday. Head out on the pedal boats or relax on the sunbathing lawn. For indoor water fun, visit the indoor complex with beach pool. This beautiful indoor building is an attraction for young and old, with a water play park, play beach, indoor pool and wellness area. The indoor pool area has a paddling pool and a large slide.

Entertainment for all

Young members of the family are entertained in the Kids club during most of the high season.  Teenagers haven't been left out, of course - there's a varied recreation programme for them too.  The whole family can enjoy themselves on the sports fields.  With outdoor activities such as basketball, volleyball, mini golf and boules nobody has to be bored.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

The swimming pool and indoor facilities were closed but we enjoyed our stay. The toilet and sanitary block was immaculate and well maintained and clean. Each toilet had cleaning gel for Covid too. We enjoyed walking around the lake and cycling in the area. The track to cycle in the trees in a must and the children loved this. Child friendly cycle tracks and then a path that takes you up into tree canopy was a lot of fun... about 4 k from campsite. The restaurant was busy on the terrace and people were happy with takeaways. The shop was good and had basics for camping etc and things you run out of. Nice bread and pastry’s. The staff were friendly and accommodating but didn’t know which route the cycling was on but another guest helped us. The water beach playground looked amazing but pool looked a little small for thé size of the park. We played on the mini golf and this is free with your stay. We had a nice 3 day break here.
