Travelling party: Seniors

Absolute topcamping al kunnen wij het restaurant of zwembad niet beoordelen wegens gesloten. Prachtige ligging naast Park Hoge Kempen met tevens een losloopbos voor de honden (nog nooit geweten). Grote, gemakkelijk bereikbare plaatsen met schitterende inplanting. Top omgeving en bereikbaarheid. En top personeel ook nog. Ik kan niks verkeerd bedenken, buiten dat ze niet het ganse jaar open zijn…

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Zeer aangename kampeerervaring in safarilodges. Veel luxe, zeer proper en goed ingerichte tent met alle comfort. Zeer geschikt om met 4 te logeren. Glamping is zeker een juiste term. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst, zeer aangenaam, rustig park om er met kinderen te vertoeven. Zeer mooie omgeving om te fietsen, wandelen, uitje te maken. Zwembad niet kunnen testen omwille van koudere weer.

Op deze camping krijg je een plaats toegewezen. Alle plaatsen hebben een watertappunt en afvoer voor grijs water. De plaatsen zijn niet klein, maar ook niet supergroot. De toiletruimte is prima, maar de centrale hal met glazen dak was nu, terwijl het buiten nog niet eens 20 graden was, al erg warm en benauwd, dus ik vraag me af hoe dat met zomerse temperaturen zal zijn. Warm water krijg je met een SEP-kaart, die tevens dient om slagboom en diverse andere deuren te openen (o.a. van toiletgebouw en milieustraat): dat is lastig, want wordt makkelijk vergeten. De “taveerne” op het terrein is een soort Italiaans restaurant. Het was niet echt slecht, maar ondanks wat theatraal “Italiaans” gedoe waren wij er niet kapot van. Op zich kun je vanaf de camping mooi fietsen, maar een groot nadeel is dat de camping aan een vrij drukke hoofdweg ligt waarbij een smal strookje een “fietspad” is. Eén kant uit is er na 600 meter wel een echt fietspad, maar de andere kant uit pas na enkele kilometers. Maastricht ligt “om de hoek”.

Fijne en vriendelijk eigennaars. Leuke ingeving voor fietsen en wandelen. De saniter is proper . Voor de kinderen is er animatie en een fijn zwembad. Zeer propere camping.

Hartstikke mooie verzorgde camping. Zwembad en sanitair ruimtes proper. Leuke taverne en in het hoogseizoen ook een frituur. Genoeg mooie plekken om te bezichtigen rondom en overal kort bij.
