From the reception you will reach the tent of caravan via grassy nature paths. The quietly located pitches can be more or less shaded, according to preference. Furthermore, they are equipped with water, electricity, drainage and cable television. In addition to these pitches, this campsite also has several types of rental accommodation: luxury mobile homes, safari tents and camping huts.
Lots of fun on the water
The three water bodies on this campsite provide lots of water fun amongst nature. First of all in the swimming pond near the bar/restaurant, with adjacent sandy beach and grassed area. You will also find a rowing and fishing pond. Further down the grounds there are play areas with swings, slides, walking bridges and shelters for the children. Adults will also have no difficulty keeping fit at Camping Baalse Hei with the sport fields and sporting facilities (soccer, tennis, table tennis, volley ball and petanque).
Regional beers
At the campsite you will be able to buy fresh bread. The tavern has a menu to appease both small and large appetites. If you prefer takeaway, you can find it at the Belgian Fry. Obviously, you will also find the well-known beers of this region here.
The numerous marked walking trails and cycling routes in the area are an invitation to explore the Antwerp Campines. With beautiful and interesting towns like Turnhout, Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges at relatively short distance, there is a plethora of day trips to choose from. Theme Park Bobbejaanland is only a 20 minute drive away.
