Camping Sonnenberg can justifiably call itself one of the most beautifully located Alpine campsites. From the campsite you have a magnificent view of the three thousand metre high surrounding mountain ranges. Mountains that invite you to make lovely walking tours or car trips. The Alpine towns of Bludenz en Nüziders are just a stone's throw away.

Friendliest campsite
At the reception the hospitable owners, Matthias and Beate, extend you a warm welcome and will assist, where possible, with setting up your tent or mobile home, or with any other practical matters. Not surprising that Sonnenberg has already received recognition as 'the friendliest campsite in Europe'. The terrain is laid out in terraces and is mostly car-free. The boundaries of the terraces are dotted with colourful wild flowers. You reach the clean and comfortable camping pitches via neat gravel pathways. There is also a separate section on the campsite where pets are allowed.
Diversity of guests
In high season the campsite is frequented by a variety of guests. There is a fun, sheltered play area for the youth and ample room to 'chill'. In low season it is mainly the more senior walkers and seekers of peace and quiet who visit here. The swimming pool in the village of Bludenz is freely accessible to camping guests. It has a water slide and a spacious sunbathing lawn.
You can order fresh bread for the next day on the campsite. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance in the village.
Beautiful sanitary facilities
The sanitary facilities on campsite Sonnenberg leave nothing to be desired: they are kept immaculate and offer a wide range of convenient amenities such as an ironing boards and irons, tumble dryers and a drying room. There is also a dedicated corner for hair care and shaving.
