Camping Eichenwald is located between the Tyrolean mountains in Stams, Austria. The terraces of this campsite have lovely lawns. You'll be camping here with a view of the high Alpine peaks. Immerse yourself in Austrian culture and join in the dance evenings. An Austrian beer in the Biergarten makes it extra special. Jump in the pool with your children or visit the Stuibenwaterfall.

Wake up with an Alpine view

Every morning you wake up with a view of the Alps. From most of the pitches at Eichenwald campsite you'll have a wonderful panoramic view. Behind the reception is a green campsite with landscaped lawns and plenty of trees. That's where you'll find your camping pitch, in the shade and surrounded by nature.

Swimming pool between the mountain peaks

Of course a swimming pool is a must for the children. Fortunately Eichenwald campsite has one, right behind reception. The pool isn't big, but luckily it's never really busy. Settle down on a lounger while the little ones enjoy themselves in the water. Close your eyes and enjoy the silence. Or just keep them open to admire the snow-capped mountain peaks in the distance.

Austrian dance evenings

Want to immerse yourself in Austrian culture? Then visit a dance evening in high season. The campsite owners will proudly show you traditional Austrian dances. And you can dance along too. Do you prefer to stay put? Order a delicious beer in the Biergarten and enjoy the music. Or come to the restaurant at a quieter time for an Austrian dinner.

lovely spot, good pitches, great views, good sanitary facilities. nice walks/hikes from the camp and convenient small Spar supermarket nearby.

Travelling party: Seniors

Just a 2 night stop over, with the unexpected bonus of camping next to the Stamm monastery, lovely terraced pitches with clean facilities. Would certainly recommend to anyone passing through this area. Food was very good. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Travelling party: Couple

Have stayed quite a number of times before. The scenery in this area is quite spectacular. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open during our visit. Swimming pool was not open either. Took the train to Telfs this time- usually drive. Nice little shopping centre, shops and supermarkets.
