Clean campsite with a luxurious appearance and a picturesque location directly on the Sulmsee lake. A nice place to go for a swim and enjoy the surrounding nature in peace. There are unique, ultra-modern sanitary facilities, and you can look out over the water from the cosy terrace. Just west of the dog-friendly Sulmsee Campsite is the city of Leibnitz, which features a beautiful old town centre. Thanks to its mild climate, this hilly area in southern Austria is home to a lot of wine-growing. Ideal for walking and cycling.

Camping in Styria

To the south of the beautiful city of Graz lies the region of South Styria, not far from the Slovenian border. Sulmsee Campsite is beautifully situated in the middle of nature, located along the edge of the Sulmsee lake and at the foot of the Seggauberg hill. Just beyond the entry gate is the wooden reception building, which offers comfortable seating for new arrivals. Renate is the owner who manages everything and welcomes all campers.

As you pass through the entry gate you will enter the camping site, which is beautifully situated with a panoramic view of the vineyards. All spacious camping pitches are numbered and are located on neat lawns. Paved pitches for campers and caravans are playfully distributed across the field, allowing you to create your own degree of privacy. Most pitches have a view of the lake, and there are also a good number of pitches to choose from right along the water. You will rarely see sanitary facilities like the ones at this campsite. They are of hotel quality and look very clean and modern.

Ein sehr schöner Platz. Absolut top gepflegt. Sehr freundliches Personal. Aktuell ist das Restaurant noch im Wiederaufbau. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

3 Nächte 1 Stellplatz am Silbersee, schön gelegen, ruhig, viele Bäume, auf passender Kiesunterlage in der Wiese, zwei schöne Moorbäder gut geeignet zum schwimmen, schöne und saubere Sanitäranlagen. Nahe der Kleinstadt Leibnitz, gut erreichbar mit Fahrrad, viele schöne Radtouren möglich in der Umgebung mit Besuch in Buschenschenken, leider ist das Restaurant zur Zeit nicht geöffnet. Sehr nettes und kompetentes Personal, wir können den Campingplatz sehr empfehlen und werden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen.

Einer der besten Campingplätze, die wir je gesehen haben. Sanitäranlagen und der Platz selbst äusserst gepflegt. Die Damen an der Rezeption sehr freundlich und nett. Es fehlt momentan nur das Restaurant, das heuer neu gebaut werden soll. Wir kommen sicher wieder!
