Camping Murinsel is in Großlobming, in the middle of the beautiful Styria. This five-star campsite is in an attractive location between the River Mur and a serene lake. That makes the campsite a good choice for nature lovers. This campsite – winner of the ACSI Awards in 2023 – is also a good campsite for motor sport fans, seeing as the Red Bull Ring is only five kilometres away.

Camping amenities

The campsite is well-maintained and exudes a pleasant calm. The pitches, some right by the water, are nicely laid out and suitable for both long-term campers and those passing through. With 80 camping pitches on a site covering five hectares, there is plenty of space for every visitor. Each plot is about 100 tot 140 m² in size and provided with water, sewage and electricity connections.

The campsite does not have a supermarket, but you will find one in the village that is only 1 km away. And if you bring your loyal four-legged friend, there is a pool-pond measuring 600 m² and a meadow where they can be taken for a walk.

Relaxation by the pond

There is a second, larger pond of about 1.5 hectares where you can wonderfully relax. This natural pond - surrounded by plants and flowers - invites you to unfold a chair and completely unwind. You can go for a swim, finally finish that book you never get the chance to read or cast a line in a quiet spot.

Travelling party: Seniors

Wir waren im Sommer 2023 für 10 Tage auf dem Platz. Der Campingplatz ist wunderschön angelegt mit eigenem Badeteich. Die Stellplätze sind sehr groß, eben, teilweise beschattet Die Betreiberfamilie ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sanitäranlagen sind ausreichend vorhanden, modern und immer sehr sauber. Im Restorant kann zu fairen Preisen gut gegessen werden. Wir werden immer wiederkommen, der Platz ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.

Wir sind schon wieder da. Es ist schön wie immer. Dieser Platz ist sehr zu empfehlen. Jetzt sind auch noch neue Duschen und Spülplätze dazu gekommen, was alles noch entspannter macht. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Ein Platz mit einem Schwimmteich und sehr guter Küche. Für Sportbegeisterte ist Spielfeld nicht weit Weg. Bei Veranstaltung zwar eine leichte Kulisse aber nicht störend. Auch der Flugverkehr der Eurofighter ist nicht störend sondern eine Sichtbare Abwechslung. Mortalität hat eben Benzin im Blut. Ausgedehnte Radtouren und Wanderungen entlang der Mur. Hundefreundlicher Aufenthalt möglich

Wir waren zum Kurzurlaub in der Steiermark und haben diesen wunderschönen Platz gefunden. Sehr freundliches Personal, top Sanitäranlagen, ein kleiner Badesee, alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Preis/Leistung in dieser Kategorie unübertroffen. Wir werden dort bestimmt noch einmal landen.
