In the well-known Austrian village of Zell am See lies the charming campsite Panorama Camp Zell am See. The campsite is a ten-minute drive from the village and only 500 metres from the southern banks of the Lake Zell, a beautiful lake surrounded by high mountains. In the summer, the family campsite is the perfect home base for hikers, cyclists and water sports enthusiasts. In the winter, the campsite is open for winter sportsmen and sportswomen who enjoy winter camping. In short, the attractive Zell am See is a good place for holidaymakers all year round.

View of imposing mountains

Panorama Camp Zell am See has a beautiful location with a view of imposing mountains such as the Kitzsteinhorn and the Schmittenhöhe. You camp on grass and there are lots of trees on the grounds. The campsite has a playground, a multi-functional playing field and a table-tennis table. Animal lovers will enjoy themselves at the campsite’s petting zoo, which includes rabbits and chickens. Right next to the campsite is a farm with cows and horses. Dogs are welcome at the campsite. 500 metres away is an off-lead area where your faithful four-footed friend can run free.

Swimming in Lake Zell

A pathway leaves the campsite that will take you to the beach by the lake in about ten minutes. Campsite visitors at Panorama Camp Zell am See are granted free access. Take a refreshing swim in the clear water and enjoy the impressive view. Various cycle routes leave the campsite, which is a great way to explore the surrounding area. Bicycles can be rented from the campsite’s reception.

Very nice camping to stay. Beautiful old town at a short walking distance. Possible to spend time in Alps, visit Kaprun glacier and even to triy downhill skiing there in summer time
