In the beautiful Austrian Salzburgerland, an hour’s drive from Salzburg, is the Wieshof campsite. It is a good place for campers who are attracted by the beauty of nature. The hospitable owners, the pristine sanitary facilities, and the good camping equipment make for a comfortable base. You can do anything here – whether summer activities or various winter sports.

Beautiful view over the mountains

You arrive at a well-maintained property, where you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and the town centre of Sankt Johann im Pongau. The campsite consists of several streets with undefined grassy pitches. You can choose between larger or smaller pitches. There are also some new chalets on the campsite, and you can rent apartments. The sanitary facilities deserve a special mention. It is modern (2019), beautiful, and very clean.

Nature and wellness

Wieshof is truly a campsite where you enjoy the environment and nature. In terms of facilities, the campsite is more than adequate. However, you shouldn’t expect extensive entertainment, swimming pools, and shows. For the children there are a few playgrounds and a recreation room. Otherwise, the facilities are mainly focused on providing a pleasant stay. You can warm up in one of the saunas or exercise in the gym.

Wintersport camping

With plenty of downhill and cross-country skiing opportunities nearby, the Wieshof campsite is a popular starting point for a winter sports holiday. There are several facilities for this: ski storage, drying room, and ski rental. You will also find a cosy restaurant on the campsite. Here you can buy fresh bread and a delicious breakfast.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Terrassen camping aan de rand van het dorp en doorgaande weg met uitzicht op berg. Mede daarom vrij onrustig. Plekken vind ik aan de kleine kant. Sanitair inderdaad zeer luxe en schoon. Wij stonden aan bovenste straatje, je blijft lopen naar de wc en drinkwater. Eigenaren zeer vriendelijk, gastvrij en behulpzaam, dus voor doorreis zeker een aanrader!

Leuke camping met mooi uitzicht op de bergen. Sanitair is fantastisch mooi. Receptioniste heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Prijs is echt te hoog voor het gebodene.
