On the outskirts of the city of Salzburg lies Nord-Sam, a well-maintained and cheerful four-star campsite with lots of green, a beautiful swimming pool and a good connection (bike path and bus stop) to Salzburg. Nord-Sam is a truly wonderful base for visiting this classic, atmospheric city. Salzburg is full of history, if for no other reason than it is where Mozart was born and gave his concerts. The Salzburg-Salzkammergut region is ideal for relaxing cycling and hiking tours.

Four-star campsite
The reception building is built in a traditional style with different floors. Downstairs you will find the sanitary facilities and the kitchen, on the first floor is the restaurant with terrace, the reception and the shop. Everything here is clean and well organised. Due to its favourable location vis-à-vis Salzburg, Nord-Sam is not the cheapest campsite in the country. But speaking of this nearby tourist attraction: the campsite offers excursions to Salzburg.
Sun and shade
The pitches on this little campground are small but well maintained. They have good grass surfaces and are demarcated by carefully pruned bushes. In the months before and after the July-August period, you camp with a bit more space and have more privacy. There are a lot of trees, so many pitches are wonderfully shaded. The sanitary facilities at Camping Nord-Sam are clean and stylish.
Pleasant swimming pool
The swimming pool (limited hours: from 9-12 and from 14-19:00) is heated and well maintained. Around the pool you will find some loungers and sun umbrellas. The whole area is surrounded by walls, beautifully tiled with blue and white mosaics. Three hundred metres from the campsite you will find a large supermarket, a butcher and a pizzeria.
