Terrassen-Camping Traisen is on a hill in the town of Traisen, surrounded by the wooded mountains of Lower Austria. This small-scale campsite is an ideal starting point for nature lovers who want to enjoy the Austrian mountain landscape by bike or on foot. The campsite itself has an outdoor swimming pool and a bistro among other things. The same hospitable family has run this campsite for dozens of years. The owners maintain the campsite with love. The wonderfully landscaped and neatly maintained shrubs and flowers are proof of that.

Enjoy a terraced pitch with mountain views

This terraced campsite offers playfully landscaped grass fields, various annual pitches and tourist camping pitches. These vary in size but are generally spacious enough. The touring pitches all have one thing in common: you can enjoy the wonderful views of the mountainous landscape around the campsite from all pitches. Besides on a lovely camping pitch, you can also stay in a charming hiker's cabin for three or four people or on a large filed for groups of campers at Terrassen-Camping Traisen.

Lovely meal at Café Bistro Wallentino

The lovely swimming pool is in the middle of the site. The water in the outdoor swimming pool is heated using solar energy. That also applies to the water in the toilet block. Café Bistro Wallentino is right next to the swimming pool. There you can enjoy tasty refreshments in the lovely indoor section or on the shaded patio. Food includes fresh pastries, spicy snacks, chunks of sheep's cheese or pumpkin oil from Styria. Top it off by ordering a glass of homemade fruit juice or a schnapps alongside.
