This nature campsite in Neulengbach, Austria is located in a quiet, green area and is surrounded by fields, meadows and forests. This makes the campsite a perfect base for hiking and cycling trips. Camping Finsterhof is an ideal campsite for nature lovers and active holidaymakers who are looking for peace, relaxation and a cosy atmosphere.

Family business

The campsite is on the grounds of a beautiful old farm. Here you can opt for a spacious camping pitch with plenty of privacy. There are both sunny and shady pitches. Dogs and cats are also very welcome here. The campsite is still a family business and has been passionately run by the third generation since 2022. A lot of work has been done since then, including the installation of a Wi-Fi connection and the renovation of the sanitary facilities.

Pick your own fruit

Camping authentically and in harmony with nature is of paramount importance to the owners, and this is reflected throughout the campsite. For example, seasonal organic vegetables are grown, and fresh fruit, such as strawberries and other berry varieties, can even be picked on site. The patisserie and bread service from the local bakery complete the feel-good factor during your holiday.

Playground and petting zoo

The little ones can romp around on the playground or marvel at the animals in the small petting zoo. The campsite organises various workshops and events such as yoga, picnics and craft afternoons. Those looking for fun water recreation activities can go to one of the many swimming pools and lakes in the immediate vicinity of the campsite.

Travelling party: Couple

kleine camping als doorreiscamping gebruikt door ons. Slecht bewegwijzerd, niemand gezien, en op een drassig schuin weiland gestaan, er is nog veel werk aan de winkel vooraleer je hier deftig kan staan. men heeft dan weer wel een mooi sanitair gebouwd tussen de bouwvallige ruïnes, weinig structuur. voor 1 nacht was het wel ok hoor. Voor de rest weinig voorzieningen, maar hier is wel iets moois van te maken, wie weet, zeer vriendelijke vrouw aan de receptie die moeilijk te vinden was.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

De camping ligt op het terrein van een mooie, oude boerderij. Het sanitair is flink gedateerd, maar de camping is 3 maanden geleden overgenomen door kleindochter Lisa! Zij timmert flink aan de weg! Er is nu uitstekende wifi over het hele terrein, er is een speeltuintje voor kinderen weggezet sinds kort en er wordt gebouwd aan een nieuw sanitair gebouw.

Lisa zelf is ongelooflijk gastvrij en heel erg vriendelijk. Ze is de hele dag druk in de weer voor haar gasten en straalt uit dat ze veel plezier heeft in wat ze doet. Ze heeft een duidelijke visie voor het bedrijf en is actief aan de slag om er iets moois van te maken. Wij hebben een hele leuke tijd gehad en komen graag nog een keer terug!

Travelling party: Seniors

Wij waren eind mei op deze camping. Het gras stond ongeveer een
halve meter hoog. De toiletten waren in een schuur en waren erg smerig. Het chemisch toilet moest ook hierin worden geleegd.
Hoe kijkt een inspecteur hier naar of kondigd hij zijn bezoek aan?
De afvalbakken waren ergens achterin en de laatste tijd niet geleegd.
