Attention all nature lovers! Are you looking for a nice, quiet campsite in Carinthia, in the middle of Austria, for a holiday that is all about hiking, cycling, water sports or swimming? Then Drau-Camping Sachsenburg is the right campsite for you. This friendly, small campsite is located directly on the Drau river. This is also a great place to discover the mountain world with a young family or to enjoy the early and late season in peace and quiet.

Upon arrival at the campsite, you will receive a warm welcome at the reception desk from the friendly owner. Here you will also find information about trips and routes. In addition, you will find a pleasant recreation room on the top floor of this building.

Excellent sanitary facilities

The campsite itself is a beautifully maintained area with neat and spacious camping fields. These are very suitable for touring campers. There are also some mobile homes and log cabins for rent. The sanitary facilities are particularly clean and tidy and there are good facilities for disabled campers. You can walk straight into the village for your daily shopping and there are also several restaurants in the area. There is no shop or restaurant on the campsite itself.

Free access to the outdoor swimming pool

The campsite is popular with those looking for peace and quiet, walking and cycling enthusiasts and campers who come for water sports on the Drau. The heated open-air swimming pool in Sachsenburg is a 15-minute walk away and accessible free of charge to campers. Here you can swim and relax on the sunbathing lawn, while enjoying the view of the mountain landscape.
